Few Important Reminders:
-
The fall season is upon us and children have returned back to school! For the safety of all residents and to avoid costly damage to vehicles and property, limit parking on the streets during the day and no overnight parking on the streets. Be mindful of increased pedestrian traffic. The speed limit is 30mph on Fieldstone Blvd. but 20mph on the side streets. Please reduce your speed when driving through these areas especially on the side streets.
-
The tree trimming and the stumps between the sidewalk and the street are in a county easement and are the county’s responsibility. To avoid a costly repair and for the safety of all residents, please do not attempt to remove the trees and stumps and contact the county to have trees trimmed especially near the street lights.
-
A nice looking neighborhood affects the property value of all residents. We have had several residents contact board members about unsightly property conditions. Please make arrangements to keep your property attractive as there are several local businesses that provide lawn and handyman services.
-
A few residents have mentioned criminal activity occurring in the neighborhood in regards to vehicles. To avoid loss of your property and damage to your vehicles, please keep valuables out of sight and your vehicle doors locked. We recommend to follow a similar practice in regards to your home especially your garage. If an unfortunate loss of property should occur, please contact the Sheriff’s department to make a police report. Such reports will increase police presence in Fieldstone and adjacent neighborhoods.
