Important Reminders – Fall 2021

The board held the Fall 2021 garage sale on September 25, 2021 from 8am-5pm. Residents who participated said traffic flow was less than in prior years but still successful. The board will plan for the Spring 2022 garage sale (in May). The garage sale will be advertised on the website and social media as well as an ad in the local newspaper.

 Few Important Reminders:

  • Dues notices were mailed in early February and due on March 5th. If you have not paid your annual homeowners dues, finance charges are currently being assessed and legal action has been taken for past due accounts. If you have questions about your bill, please contact Michael, the HOA administrator directly by email or use the “contact us” button on the bottom of this page. With increased costs, it is important that every resident pays their assessment on time. This will ensure our annual dues assessment remains the same as it has for the last 25 years.
  • School is back in session! Please be mindful of the increased presence of children and school buses in the neighborhood. Several reports of vehicles speeding down Fieldstone Blvd have been reported. The speed limit is 25mph on Fieldstone Blvd. but 20mph on the side streets. Please reduce your speed when driving through these areas especially on the side streets and limit parking on the streets during the day and no overnight parking.
  • As the Fall season will be approaching soon, the tree trimming and the stumps between the sidewalk and the street are in a county easement and are the county’s responsibility. To avoid a costly repair and for the safety of all residents, please do not attempt to remove the trees and stumps. There are utility and gas lines located in these easements. If trees need trimming near the street lights, please contact Michael, HOA administrator and provide the address closest to the street light. He will contact the county to have trees trimmed and provide the resident an update.
  • A nice looking neighborhood affects the property value of all residents. When residents contact the board members about unsightly property conditions, the board will send a letter to the homeowner and follow-up to ensure the property condition has improved. If no change has occurred, the board may defer the violation to the association attorney for further action. Please make arrangements to keep your property attractive. If assistance is needed with home maintenance, there are several local businesses that provide lawn and handyman services.
  • A few residents have mentioned criminal activity occurring in the neighborhood in regards to vehicles. To avoid loss of your property and damage to your vehicles, please keep valuables out of sight and your vehicle doors locked. We recommend to follow a similar practice in regards to your home especially your garage. If an unfortunate loss of property should occur, please contact the Sheriff’s department to make a police report. Such reports will increase police presence in Fieldstone and adjacent neighborhoods.
